Dr. Michelle Ferraro
Born in Brooklyn, Michelle remains true to her “New York State of Mind.” Michelle attended Niagara University, majoring in pre-med science. After graduation, she went on to study Naturopathic Medicine at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine where she achieved her diploma to become a Naturopathic doctor.
She then went on to run an established practice focusing on acupuncture and eastern medicine for many years before starting a family of her own. While her two girls were growing, Michelle was treating and caring for others including family and friends. She helped them with their health issues, food sensitivities, and lifestyle and general wellness concerns as well!
She still subscribes to (and prescribes) the idea that laughter is the best medicine, but can always be supported by a healthy diet and lifestyle. Her passion for all things health paired with a love for travel, means she has spent significant time learning about how other cultures, foods, styles, and health practices from around the world can help patients. Michelle believes that to achieve optimal health you must find a balance between what is “required” vs what is “sustainable” in everyday life.
